Allen County Republican Party Chairman Steve Shine announces that Donald J. Trump, Jr. will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Allen County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner. The Lincoln Day Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, 120 West Jefferson Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Shine said, “There is no one better to represent the President, both in presence and philosophically than Donald J. Trump, Jr., one of the most sought after speakers in the country. His willingness to select Allen County and Northeast Indiana (an area that already is a Republican stronghold) as one of the locations to visit, given his hectic election year schedule, is an acknowledgment of the importance that our area maintain its GOP dominance.”
“Mr. Trump agreed to appear upon the invitation of Congressman Jim Banks, which speaks to the respect the President and his family have for our 3rd District Congressman. Congressman Banks has not only been an ardent supporter of President Trump, but also, Congressman Banks has not hesitated to offer the President alternatives and options to the President’s initiatives, for which the administration has been most welcoming. Our district is well served and receives national respect and recognition thanks to the leadership of Congressman Banks,” Shine said.
The Lincoln Day Dinner is an annual Allen County Republican Party event that is held each year just before the primary election in May. “No doubt, this year’s dinner will be sold out and, to accommodate as many people as possible, it will be held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center,” Shine said.
Further details regarding ticket prices, both for individual attendees and for tables of ten, will be announced soon and will be stated on the Allen County GOP website, which is www.allencountygop.com.
